Crazy Rummy Rules 

  • Each player is dealt with either 5 or 7 cards, based on the number of players involved in the game. The leftover cards are kept facing down in the middle of the table known as the drawing pile. 
  • The topmost card is taken out and kept facing up to start the discard pile. The game is commenced by the player to the dealer’s left side, who draws the card either from the top of the drawing pile or the discard lot. 
  • If possible, this player attempts to form a set or a book, which he lays facing upward before him. He then discards a card to the discard lot. He may form more than 1 book or set and can discard or draw solely one card at a time.

  • In case the drawing lot runs out of stock, the discard lot may be turned facing down and shuffled to create a new drawing lot. 
  • A game is concluded when a player lays down all his cards and there are no cards left in the discard or drawing lots. All players then calculate the sum number of cards. The player with the smallest number of points triumphs. 


After every round, players earn points depending on the cards in their hands, adding them to their sum score. A player should steer clear of scoring points, but when they go out, they get 0 points for that round.
